Producer and Import Price Index rose by 0.1% in January
Neuchâtel, 14.2.2025 - The Producer and Import Price Index rose in January 2025 by 0.1% compared with the previous month to reach 106.4 points (December 2020 = 100). Prices rose in particular for petroleum products, watches, and medical and dental instruments and supplies, while electricity prices fell. Compared with January 2024, the price level of the whole range of domestic and imported products fell by 0.3%. These are some of the results from the Federal Statistical Office (FSO).
